David Bach (the author of the above book) has also written one especially for the ladies which I have read called Smart Women Finish Rich. Also very good although a bit difficult in parts due to different tax and pension names in the USA.
BTW did you know he was one of the advisors to the families in the Oprah Debt Diet shows recently - these have been discussed elsewhere on this site and there is show info on https://www.oprah.com which is very good indeed.

While being a millionaire is an overall aim, the first figure I want to hit is my freedom figure.
This is the amount of money i can put in the bank and live off interest without having to work if i don't wish too.
My favourite author around this type of topic is Stuart Goldsmith. He is a British Author and his book the Midas Method was really really good.

Maybe we can start a book swap club.
I don't mind people lending a few of the titles I have if people are skint and can't afford a copy.

    McBirnie,

I dont have any of the books to swap but would be extremely grateful if you would be willing to lend me one or two and then I'll post them back.

PM me if thats ok with you.

    Thanks x

Hi, I am also a great fan of Stuart Goldsmith- would highly recommend one of his other books, '7 Secrets of the Millionaires'.
I've seen this on eBay for as little as £1.99 (plus post!) I'm sure I have seen the 'Midas Method' on there too.

That's quite a strange thing to say, because without the interest continually compounding, inflation will eat away at your net worth and your millions will effectively decrease in value.

You need to make sure that you don't live on all your interest, and the interest you don't spend is large enough to compound to continually beat (or match) the rate of inflation.
