returned sale item full price refund

hi, i bought some goods online and received a discount of 20% when the goods arrived i didnt like them so returned them back to the high street store and received a credit back on my card for the non discounted price.
i was wondering if the store can take the money back off my card now?

I guess they could, but again, I doubt they would- depends on the company- if its someone major like Topshop or Argos, unless you'd bought something like a house (and I know Tescos don't sell houses before anyone starts!) they'd just be too busy to check this and it'd be left as it is.

But if its a little corner shop or sole business, they may track back everything through thier financial advisor or something and then it may get found out. But again, its a maybe, especially at this time of the year.
