DH and I have found real pleasure in sorting out the garden together, and sitting out there for a cuppa. The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

Cheers folks for those ideas, I'll put some of them in to practice. Already did the Love note and she thought it was well 'Sweet'.

Together as a family we've rented a DVD and drawn the curtains and stuffed ourselves with cinema type snacks. OH and I have spent evenings playing games such as snakes and ladders accompanied with a glass of vino. Last year the two of us spent a Saturday night making strawberry jam...sounds a bit weird but it was great just to spend time together and chatting without the small person around [lovely though the little fella is]. Not very romantic I'm afraid but then OH and I were queuing up for other things when the romantic gene was handed out!!:rotfl:
