Do you need to mention all the jobs you have had on your cv, im on 4th job in ten years and one of the jobs i can only think of 1 sentence describing what the job was/main duties, do i need to mention that i had this particular job

Well the company director of my last job re-did my CV for me and it had a comprehensive explanation of my current/last job, then just 1 sentence for my other jobs outlining my key roles. He says to keep it to 2 pages just have last 3 jobs on there. Also if you just put your key points they're more likely to bring you in for an interview to discuss them. And it worked for me - I got the first job I applied for with the new CV
if you want any help just ask

Four jobs in ten year is not that many. I would list all of the because you will have developed different skill/experiences in all of them. Also keeping all four jobs will not hopefully leave any big time gaps.
keep it simple and easy on the eye.
Good luck with it.0 -
its not the amount of jobs ive had but the fact that couldnt think of anything else to put down for main duties when for the other jobs ive put down like 4/6 lines of stuffNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

It can be difficult to list your duties. Try to think of what an average day was like in that role and take it from there.0

More important, can you make it look as if each job built on and expanded the skills you gained in the previous job(s) (even if you weren't earning more money
)

It can also look good if you can highlight any additional duties that you took on above and beyond those that your role profile set.
Make sure you also emphasis any skills you have picked up from the jobs which will be directly relevant to the role you are applying for (this is why you really need a CV per job application rather than a vanilla one that you would send for the job as head of marketing and also for a part time job as a cleaner).
There is always extra bits you can add in like "working in a small team", "high level of delegated authority" etc (again match to the new job)All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
