midlothian/borders farm shops?

Are there any farm shops at all in the Scottish Borders?? Or maybe Midlothian would do ?

i know of this one http://www.knowesfarmshop.co.uk/ it's near a place we holiday (east linton) and i've heard people say lots of good things about it, personally i've never been though

there's the foodhall at dobies (beside the butterfly farm),lowes but nearly every borders town has a farmersmarket on weekends you'ld need to check the dates though (the maltings at Berwick has a big one today)

ok ta very much.... I can do Peebles which I see is on next week .. Dobies is bit dear and he wont drive up there cos its too busy. Sigh.. Got some sites off Butterfriends link.

There are markets on in Hawick on Saturday and one in Kelso on Sundays.

If you're down in the Borders tomorrow - Sunday - then Selkirk are having their 'Scott Selkirk' celebrations and there is loads of local produce for sale along the high street. It's just an annual event though.

If you google 'Scott Selkirk' and have a look at their website to see what's all on.
