DSi for £117.94

Tried to post this on Hot Uk Deals but got voted stone cold.

I am completely baffled by this as it 100% works. Thought I would give someone else the chance to order if they want to on here.

Please read the following instructions carefully to get a Nintendo DSi for £117.34.

**This glitch catergoriacally works**

Amazon have an offer in which they state that if you order a DSi you will recceive a free accessory pack & a game for £5. Their system should reduce the cost of the game but in ERROR it reduces the cost of the console.

You have to order the item in order for this to work.
If you are unsure just put add a new credit card (even one you already use) type the number in incorrectly & select this card. If once you receive your order confirmation you do not see the price I am quoting you can cancel as Amazon will send you a follow up e-mail within a few minutes asking you to amend card details. If you are happy with the price then just amend your card details. If your not cancel!!

Here is what to do:
Choose the colour of DSi you want and tick it.
Choose the following game: Princess Melody
Choose your free Case
Proceed to basket & order.

When you get the confirmation e-mail you will see the price of the DSi has been reduced to £117.94. You can also check with your bank & see you have only been charged £117.94.

Once item is dispatched you can cancel the OUT OF STOCK game - you have not been charged for game.

See T&C's for the offer and you will see Amazon ONLY refer to you returning the game. They mean to reduce the game to £5 but are reducing the console on error.

Here is my dispatch e-mail:

  • <DIV>Here are the T&C's, as you can see they refer to the game being £5 when in fact they charge full price for the game & discount the console.

To buy a selected DS game for £5 when you purchase a Nintendo DS Lite or DSi console:
    1. Add a Nintendo DS Lite or DSi console and any one of the promotional selected DS game listed here to your Shopping Basket via the Add to Shopping Basket button on each items information page.
    2. The promotional price of the selected DS game will be applied your total order value at checkout.
    3. If you remove the Nintendo DS Lite or DSi console from your Shopping Basket or violate any of the terms and conditions below, the promotion will cease to apply, and the promotional price will no longer apply to the selected DS game.
    4. If you return the Nintendo DS Lite or DSi console but not the promotional item, Amazon.co.uk reserves the right to charge you for the item you received for £5, without notice, at the then current Amazon.co.uk price.
    Terms and Conditions:
<UL type=disc><LI class=MsoNormal><SPAN>Offer is subject to availability whilst promotional stocks last and may in any event be withdrawn or amended without notice by Amazon.co.uk. Offer has no cash alternative.

tried this after seeing on HDUK but it wont allow me to go to check out, as the only game not in stock is that princess thing and it comes up with an error message at check out. Meaning you have to take that game out of your basket and add one of the games in stock.
think glitch may have expired. but good find for yourself and your neice :)

  • This happened a couple of weeks ago and wouldn't work. Then you couldn't add the accessory kit, then you had to contact them to add it for you. Then it didn't turn up and had to be reordered. And still ended up being £144 for the console, game & accessory kit - so fantastic if you have managed to get it to work for you!

Maybe it was voted cold becaue they were that price at Sainsbury's without any glitch (we got one)? I'd say well done for trying though - can't please everyone!

Be aware that Princess Melody is now back in stock (very annoying as I ordered yesterday) - I wonder if a subsequent return will result in a £24.99 refund.
