    Avoid this camera............ I have had it for a few years now and its the worst camera ever. Unless you keep it really still you get blurred photos, I have had more bad photos than good. :(:(

    Are you sure it's the same camera - The E50 one was only released at the beginning of last year. It also has a shake reduction feature so perhaps yours is faulty?

    Never heard of Shanitech though.

    the shutter speed is TOO slow, half the time you miss important photos, and if you even move the camera a little, you get Blur, and thats with the shake reduction switched on...................... Get a FUJI...

    Maybe you're just not very good at taking photos.

    The price for E50 new was about £85.00. Shanitech is selling refurb pentax products. I have checked with Pentax. I think esmer is getting mix-up with some other camera. E50 was only released last year.

  • I've used one and it's not a great camera by any means, good stocking filler buy though for someone who just wants to take the odd quick snap...
