be careful with marks refunds!!

i returned something at marks and got the money back onto my card apart from the money never went back on. Luckily i kept my reciepts and could prove it hadnt gone on but the store wouldn't do anything as far as they were concerned the money went on. Anyway hopefully sortd after phoning thier number online he asked for the number on the reciept and said no refund had been processed. Just keep your reciepts as if i didnt i wouldn't of had a leg to stand on, to be honest i thought when you got the reciept the money went on. has anyone else had same problems?

I returned some items to Marks today and left my receipt at home but the gift receipt was still in the bag. They would only give me a credit voucher not a refund back onto my card. I thought with a gift receipt they would refund the amount you had paid in cash but obviously not so, even though the reason I returned the goods was that there was a flaw in the fabric, so faulty goods.
