ooh good luck. The trafford centre is like a time warp, hours lost in the strnge parrallel universe of indoor shopping centres.

Personally though, I dont think ive ever bought anything there, no bargains!!

    but I usually have a KFC :)
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    You'll be fine DG.

Just remember to leave the shop, have a look round and if you still really want it later, then buy it.

But be strong, you can do it (or you could always leave purse at home and only use vouchers?)
  • well if I don't post later then assume I've been kidnapped and help hostage in John Lewis !

I love the trafford centre. Everytime I go I plan on spending loads and then....never find anything I like. That's my kind of shopping. You couldn't grab me a millie's cookie whilst you're there could you? Double chocolate chip. Mmmmmmmm.
    January budget
    Nothing left!
  • I'm backkkkk, really pleased, spent some of my vouchers and got reduced stuff instead of full price stuff. Got offered half price shoes as they were an odd size. Got some sample clarins stuff when I spent my birthday voucher, asked for more and got more. Avoided loads of shops and read Martins book on the way home and probably could have saved more if I read it on the way there. Feel like I sort of past a test.

I'm begining to see things differently and see the whole shopping experience as a way for people to part you with your money, next time I will be chanting martins mantra.

Felt like I was in control and was looking forward to the end of the month. I know now I can save more and will be looking to pay more off my debts now.

Well done! You have stronger self control than me - I avoid the T/C like the plague unless with my OH (when he pays as its a "treat"!)
