What are Amazon like at replacing stuff?

I got a few DVD box sets from Amazon that arrived today. All ok apart from one of them which has the plastic boxes chipped at the bottom. They are in a cardboard sleeve and in a plastic wrap which is all in tact, but you can see that the plastic cases are damaged. I'm just not sure if it's worth returning to Amazon for a replacement because the plastic cases are slightly damaged. They are a christmas gift, so I am a bit gutted that they aren't in tact, but I am worried that if I send it back for a replacement, then they won't turn it around in time for christmas. Would you bother?? Do you know if they are quite quick at turning things around? I can't really afford to purchase again and wait for refund. x

I bought a CD from them a couple of months ago, when it arrived the Post Office had either stamped on it or run it over with a trolley, or both... It was a mess, the box was in bits! I e-mailed Amazon and they promptly replied with a link for a pre-paid return label and said they would dispatch another immediately, which they did! Similarly, I received smashed Eco-Zone lightbulbs a couple of weeks ago and they replaced them quickly and sent me a label for the returned item. They have always been fast to replace items for me.
Just tell them you can't give damaged items as a Christmas gift so can you please have a replacement. It won't cost you anything to get them replaced. :D

Thanks. I e-mailed them and they have been so quick to respond and have said they will issue a replacement straight away and even though I used free super saver delivery on my last order, they would send a replacement item out 1st class! I am v. impressed!
    Thanks again. x
