Hi again everyone,
Sorry to start a new thread but didn't want to hijack anyone else's!
Can I just check with those people who have a cashplus prepay card.
Is it easy to top up?
Did it come through quickly after you applied for it?
Also, do any of you have the 'creditbuilder' function added?
Any other experiences would be very welcome!
Thanks in advance!

Have had one for a while now. Can't remember how long it took, just a few days I think. I use chequecentre shops to top up as the money is available within 30 minutes. You can also top up at post office and some of these pay-point (I think) places. Never had any problems with it so far. I haven't used the credit-builder facility.0

Are there any other charges for this card apart from the monthly payment?:pB&SC No. 298

Can I suggest you just google their site as things have changed a bit since I got mine.0

www.cashplus.co.uk iv used it for nearly a year, If you have co-op you can use the internet banking to transfer money over to it, easy as that! you can also top up at the post office. My only gripe is its taking 3 working days for funds to appear.
You have your own log in on the cashplus site and are able to view your account and balance at any time. £4.95 is the only fee you pay if you go for that payment option.
I have the credit builder, so appears on my credit report monthly. It took about 10 days to come through.. and its great having a mastercard gold card in my purse again...0 -
Been a while since I got mine but I think you get charged for withdrawing money from a cash machine (as well as the monthly payment):AWhatever it is - I didn't do it!:A0

Can you get one of these if you are an undischarged bankrupt?
I am thinking of getting one and putting a bit on it each month as a sort of safety net.0 -
Yes you can - I had one while I was undischarged and still have it now, post discharge. It's a great card (although it is a bit annoying not being able to top it up online with a debit card).0

thanks hopefulfool, I will look into that then.0
