Replacement screen for Ipod & Laptop

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced repairer of screens for a 5th generation 30Gb Ipod (Video) and a Laptop. In the last 6 months my daughter dropped her Ipod so the screen isn't working although the sound etc is fine. My son's mate stood on his laptop and that has the same problem - works ok but you can't see all the screen. The prices I have been quoted for both mean to repair them is almost as much as replacing them - I can't afford this so any help on this appreciated.
I should also add that I found out the hard way that my insurers do not cover items like these under their accidental damage cover :mad:

Hi, I recently used http://www.ipod-repair.co.uk. Overall, was really impressed with their service - it wasn't a screen problem with mine - but pretty sure they'll be able to help you.
