What to do? Best loan your advice pls?

Hi i am new to this site but have read most posts and every1 seems to be so helpfull so here goes.

I checked my credit on experian and i have a rate of 752 which comes under the fair catagory?!?

Anywhooo, i have a debt i am paying off through Capquest and as i know many have issues with them but i thought it best just to pay it off and now i want to get a loan but i am slightly worried about the rejection side of things. I would apply to my bank halifax but as i had a charge last month i know they will refuse thus affecting my rating again. I do not want to go through Yes or anyone like that - been there paid the £50 years ago to no avail. So my question is who would you say were the best places to apply for a £5k loan repayable over 4 years?? I work full time and get tax credits so paying back is not an issue (have borrowed money off of family member and want to pay it back asap in 1 go now i know why they say do not do business with family or friends!) I have no Credit cards and only owe £119 on Very.co.uk but not in arrears

Thank you in advance for your help/advice

First up - the credit score means nothing, every lender has their own criteria.

Secondly, the phrasing of your post suggests you think you're in pretty good shape financially. However, if we break this down you are paying a debt to a debt collection agency, owe money to an online catalogue, and have incurred bank charges only last month.

You may not want to hear this but you are not a good prospect to potential lenders.
