Claiming Back Charges from Bank

I'm sure this information is somewhere obvious on the site and I've missed it, but what charges and for how long can we claim back?

Although I'm debt-free now, I did have some charges from a year or two ago when I had a couple of overdrafts.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

  • How do you know what charges you've had previously? I had a go at the bank at the back end of last year where they charged me a couple of £30's for my money not being in the bank on time to pay DD's.

    Hi

All the information you need is on the web site of http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk

I have just sent off for a copy of my bank statements for the last 6 years, it costs £10 but well worth it.

If you follow the steps on the above web site then you cant go wrong !!

    Hope that helps
