    Hi ya I am Susanna,

I have been on a dmp with the CCCS for about 2 years,(another 4 years to go) and they have been brilliant!

But what exactly do you want to know?

    S
  • Hi Susanna,
i just want to know if they are really good to go with before i sign up.
  • Hi Poppop
just starting out on mine and am very happy with CCCS so far! Was just about to go with a feepaying debt management company before I discovered them on this site
    £12 799 debt 16.10.2009
  • I started my DMP with CCCS 2 months ago and I think they've been fab from day 1. They have never judged us or our situation, they are always polite and helpful and our DMP was all set up really quickly (even through the postal strikes).

    :D
I'm 26, been with my OH for 8 years - we have 3 beautiful daughters and no debt collector can ever touch our family.
LBM: 03/10/09 Unsecured Debts: 69K  DMP Start Date 01/11/2009.

Hi, Been on mine 6 months now. Best thing I ever did. Always polite, very helpful and had no problems. I have never seen any bad reports from anyone about them.
    Debt at start of DMP 1/6/09: £2942 - £1942
    Buffer Zone 1; £84 -
    £2 saving plan:-
  • if i consider going on the dmp would it affect our mortgage as our fixed rate runs out next year(joint mortgage)our mortgage is up to date never missed a payment thats always one thing we will never miss.but will it affect getting a better rate or payments going up.

Like everyone else, I have had no problems with CCCS, they have been friendly, honest, straightforward, even when I have to reduce the amount I was paying.

They handled it all. All the harrassing phone calls stopped.

Nothing but good things to say about them

    Hi poppop

Yes being on any DMP will probably affect your ability to get the best remortgage deals. If you speak to CCCS about your concerns they will talk you through these implications.

That said if you have already been missing payments on your creditors then being on a DMP may not make the situation worse. And if you don't choose a DMP and start missing payments etc then again this will affect your credit rating as well.

Is it just you going on a DMP? do you have other joint products aside from the mortgage? could OH get the mortgage approved alone?
