Chocolate Cups

Im started making chocolate cups to fill with cream and strawberry slice on top. I had thought of adding a small amount of baileys to the chocolate but does anyone know if they would set.
Thanks Jay

I would like to know how you even make the chocolate cups in the first place! Mine just make a mess.

Yep they'll set, depends on the amount of cocoa solids in the choc to start with I think. Be warned that when you add the baileys it'll make the runny choc go a bit thick and lumpy until you've beaten it in. I used baileys in choc mousse the other day (not the one that dd3 has taken in with her packed lunch today I hasten to add!), and it was very nice!

You could always add some baileys to the whipped cream instead if you were worried.

Hi Mummysaver, this is what ive decided to do, they have come out well but very fiddly. If anyone has any tips on how to get an even coverage It would be appreciated. I painted the petit fours with a paintbrush and then went back when hard and did it again but the sides were thinner than Id have liked.

Im making a birthday cake for my mum and decided to decorate it with chocolate cups fresh cream and strawberries, if it turns out ok Ill post a piccie to let you see what I mean.

    Thanks for the replies
