Double cream pellets

Years ago I used to keep bags of these pellets in the freezer. They were handy when you just wanted a small amount of cream to add to a coffee, stir through a bowl of soup etc. Can you still buy them? I haven't seen them in ages or am I looking in the wrong supermarkets?

Probably not much help but Eissman sells them. Not a high street shop. I remember them well, my mum used to get them. I remember them being sticks.0

Never heard of them but what a fab product. I followed the link but they're sadly too expensive for me. l bet you could buy normal cream and freeze yourself in ice cube trays?

I did just that a few weeks ago.I bought 2 cartons of double cream greatly reduced at Sainsbury's and then wondered what I was going to do with it when I got home
I then remembered buying frozen cream sticks years ago and so I froze the cream in a couple of ice cube trays. It is very useful if you only want a small quantity of cream for something.0 -

Thanks all, I shall try freezing just a small amount in ice cube moulds (from Ikea) and see how it works. I wonder why the supermarkets stopped selling it, I always found it handy to keep a bag in the freezer."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream.
