T Shirt printing, help please

Options
I want to get a t shirt, pref long sleeves, printed for my grandaughter. She is almost 15 month and I want it in white with simply
My daddy is
The Stig
Any suggestions where I can get this done at a reasonable price. I prefer not to do this one myself using the printer but the prices to get one made are really expensive. I would like the font to be child like writing.
Embroidered would be fine but they seem even more expensive.

Thanks for any advice you have

You can get T-shirts in various places.. try place on the high street like snappy snaps. Or look in your local yellow pages/yell.com for local T-shirt printing companies that do transfer printing

However, please be willing to pay... you are getting a personalised one off item. That is taking some one time to set up the text to print or cut the material and apply it properly to the garment. Not to forget the wages need paying and the overheads need covering!

I know you can get T-shirts in primark for £1 but these are mass produced in the thousands... your t-shirt is a one off!

Hi Sethsgran, we ordered from our local print shop for our teenager, it took about 10 days and cost £8 which included the t-shirt (but we could have supplied our own). They will print using any font you request.

    HTH, cheers, scotti

    Hi

How about buying some t-shirt transfer paper and printing out and ironing onto a plain t shirt. I did this for a present for my brother a while ago and it worked really well!

I do this too....its is sooooo easy, you can buy the transfer paper from ebay, type up your slogan yourself on word and remember to set your printer to "mirror image".
The paper I use has green circles on the back and when you iron over it it turns orange when its ready, peel off and thats it!

My daughter does this too, she went to a concert a few weeks back and made one of the band, saved her a fortune and it was how she wanted not what was on sale and all the same as the rest of the fans
We got the transfer paper from Wilkinsons, about £4 a pack i think.
  • i had some tshirts printed for work in our local joke/fancy dress/party stuff shop - it cost ten pounds per shirt for printing but was quite an intricate design and printed front and back - i supplied the tshirts and bought these from marks and sparks at 5 pounds each - maybe do a bt.com search in your area.....
