Hopelessly in debt but need new car!

Take a look at my signature and you will see how hopelessly in debt I and OH are.........

Problem is our car is just about to choke and keel over;
  • Haven't got the money to buy one
  • Haven't got enough time to save up the money
  • Debt managment plan wont allow for credit/finance

Have wife and two children and am postman with no other means of getting to work.

What do I do????????????

:confused:

P.S: I've entered every, and I mean every, car competition going!

    How far do you live from work? Is a bicycle possible? Do any colleagues live nearby that you could negotiate lifts with?
    The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

    Considered....neither are options, too far from office and no-one travels past or near me.

    Don't really expect miracles....just wanted to vent!

    I wasn't thinking of a new new car but haven't even got £100 let alone £250 to tide me over. Probably end up speaking to my dad to help but don't really want to, it's not fair on him.
