Go go pets hamsters & accessories stock updates & discussion Part 2

Been to TRU in Cambridge today. They had stock of 3 of the new hamsters (not Jilly), ball, baby stroller, car and garage, wheel, slide, boat, convertible and a truck I think it was.

Think I got myself a speeding ticket in the process, so not so good but did get a slide for DD and a stroller.

E-Bay seller has Jilly for £10.99 with free p and p. Also some boats going for RRP.

Tesco here this evening had the new hamsters at £9.97, Jilly, Winkie, Nugget and Scoodles, plus the add-on accessories at £14.97 - wheel, tunnel and slide (is that right, or the does the slide go with the wheel?), car and garage, and boat with jetty (thought that one looked really cool, but as we don't have a funhouse thought buying the add-ons would be a bit of a waste of time :rotfl:).

I want a Winkie !!!!!!!!!!!

I went into local supermarket today and picked up a boat, slide and wheel but wouldnt scan at self serve till - SA come over and swipped them off me, saying I cannot buy them!!! I said why as picked up from shelf?? She called over a customer advisor and said they havent been put on there system yet so shouldnt have been on the shelf!! They couldnt even tell me how much they were! I told them my annoyance and the fact that they would probably not be there when I go back over weekend - they didnt even offer to keep them for me! In a strop I then asked for a refund on jilly and winkie which I had just scanned succesfully...... really really annoyed!!!! Out of interest, are the above add ons £15 or £10 - just incase they are marked wrong over weekend if they manage to sort themselves out...... :mad:

Toys r us in Reading had loads of add on's today - pram, wheel, boat, skateboard etc, but no hamsters.

I think the stand-alone stuff (ball, stroller etc) are £10 RRP, the add-ons (boat, wheel, tunnel etc) are £15 RRP.

The Vikingettes have totally forgotten about their Hamsters and they lie in the Study all forgotten. After all that time and effort to get them......... which was fun!
