Go go pets hamsters & accessories stock updates & discussion Part 2

wow, just over 3 hours later after reading that the new hamsters are available in the UK I have bought Jilly and Scoodles from TRU :j The return trip should have taken no more than an hour; however, due to a massive blizzard it has just taken me 3 hours. Really pleased that I have Jilly, my little girl will love her and Scoodles is for my nephew. I would have liked all 4 but TRU initially said it was only 1 per person but I managed to convince them to sell me 2 due to the weather conditions Thanks for the heads up :rudolf:

hi folks

have not been on here for ages, but when i saw the new hammies were out, i knew i just had to have jilly (for daughter - not me:D), any way tried local tru and they had all the new ones in but no jilly left, went onto ebay and found this £15.99 plus £3.00 postage

not me selling, but seems a very reasonable price and says will post in time for christmas and has 100% feedback, i am not one for promoting ebay but what with the weather and the fact that christmas day is almost upon us i couldnt think of any other way of getting her.

I think that would have worked out cheaper than the petrol I've just used in my 3 hour round trip to get Jilly ! My daughter is going to love her as she loves everything pink !!

TRU at Teesside Park had all 4 new ones in tonight. They had quite a few left.

I would really like jilly for her, but she has 5 hammies already:eek: I will try burnley tomorrow and if not it will have to wait. Thats a good price though if you cant wait.

:eek::eek: I know!!! I just went to my toysrus (Brent Cross, London) and there they were tons of them, just sitting on the shelf!!!!

I haven't been on here for a few days as I've had my work Christmas party and other stuff going on BUT just wanted to update you all on my orders.

Spanish Set - ordered in the early hours 10 December, they charged me £45; Arrived 14th December!!! Superb Service

Play.com - ordered 2 funhouses at 17.99 each, on the 10th Dec (big shopping day for me) arrived 14th Dec

ebay - ordered surf board and sleep dome, paid way over rrp £16 inc p&p on the 11th; arrived 14th Dec

Then of course popped in to toysrus and picked up winkie :T

So I am complete with my hamster hunt :T :T :T I was tempted to start hunting for the skateboard but as there's so much stuff coming out next year, I am going to hold my horses.

Thanks so much to everyone on this forum for your hint's, tips and humour. I will still be reading away and dropping in the odd comment here and there but I can breathe a sigh of relief and let my obsession go :j:j
