I'm still waiting for my confirmation. Does it still say on the site "Order in preparation" or have you now moved onto the next stage?
My orders still say in preparation - and the one that hasn't been confirmed was actually the first order I put through. I've emailed them just to make sure they pick both up and don't think I made a mistake :rolleyes:0 -

So much for my 'call within 24 hours'......now I am REALLY p!ssed off as, if there is one thing I cannot stand, is when a promise is made for a call back and it doesn't happen......:mad:0

I checked Argos website today and there was a notice saying that they no longer put stock info of Go Go Hamsters on their website, because they want to ensure people have a fair chance to buying these hamsters. If you wanted one, you'd have to go direct to the Argos stores and find out from there if they have any stock. I went to Argos after that, at about 1.30 pm. After punching in the product code into those Argos stock-check machines, they said there were 34 hamsters in stock! Couldn't believe my luck! So I went and bought 2. Well, the Argos cashier actually encouraged me to go to the collection points and ask the staff behind the counter to show me "samples" of the hamsters before buying. So I did as told, and was shown all 4 of the hamsters. I was glad I did that. Prior to going to Argos I wasn't really sure which ones to get, but thought Num Nums and Mr Squiggles were cutest. When I saw the samples, it became very clear to me that I should stick with my original choices. And the man who served me at first said he *thinks* the rules are 1 per customer only. I said well that's not what the cashier told me earlier cos she said 2 per customer. So he went and asked his manager, who didn't seem certain about the limits but thought it was probably 2 per customer. He went to the tills and the cashier there wasn't sure either. After keying in the codes, it said on the screen clearly that it was only 2 per customer.
So yay! I got my 2 hamsters! Can't wait until my daughter opens her Christmas presents now!
So yes... if you haven't done so yet, just rush down to your nearest Argos and try your luck. Its only 2 per customer though, but they just might have stock! And it retails there at £9.99.
You can still ring and reserve...i rang and checked stock for a friend earlier. Can't think of anything funny to put here!
