Have just phoned JL about my order made on Monday to be told that although my order was placed at 8am the first working day was Tuesday and that Saturday does not count as a working day (although their website states that to them it is). I have to phone back if they havent arrived by Tuesday!!! They seemingly posted my order on Thursday by Royal Mail.0

Hi hammie hunters - just to let anyone know, Argos in Exeter (on the retail park) has hammies behind the counter.
On a more frustrating note I have just discovered that my credit card has been having unauthorised payments taken off it - S**t - dont receive paper statements and haven't checked it online for a while as I havent used it (Iknow soooooooo stupid), but some crappy company has been taking money off every month (between 50 and 100) - my card is now over limit (thye have tried to take 4 lots this month but bank declined due to lack of funds) apparently I agreed to something online - I dont remember doing this - have had no confirmation from them but they have been taking for months - I am so angry with them and myself - bank no use as I can't cancel the payments with them have to do it with this mysterious company - the fraud dept are going to contact me to let me know how to do this but they are very busy at the moment so could be a week to 10 days - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek.0 -
Good afternoon hammie hunters!
So after having a note on my door since Tuesday saying parcels can be left with a neighbour (I work for a courier company so know that this is usually ok....signed and dated it etc) I thought that since the Royal Mail van comes early here that I wouldn't need it up today....
We didn't go out until 11.15 and guess what was waiting when my OH got in at 2pm? A RM "sorry you were out" card! Grrrrrr! I am really hoping that this was my JL order as I'm also waiting for something else but getting a bit anxious about the hammie order - anyone else get theirs today after ordering on Monday from JL? (sorry haven't read back through the page yet, only just got in from shopping!)
