I'm REALLY annoyed at Tesco.
I had 3 orders cancelled yesterday, for 1 Mr Squiggles. I reordered because I'd received the 'card can't be processed' email - I only ever wanted 1 Mr Squiggles. I've only ever had a funhouse from them - no hamsters.
I called up today and I've breached their bulk buying policy because I placed the 3 orders. I only placed the 3 orders because the first 2 were cancelled by Tesco!!!0 -

lowey1975 if you order 4 hammies from JL they won't charge postage, but I'm not sure if you pay postage to send back spares. postage is only £2.95 on one hammy anyway, but you can't choose. ebay sounds cheap at the moment anyhow?52% tight0

Thank you, but I can't throw another £40 at Mr Squiggles this week. I ordered from Amazon twice in the hope of Mr Squiggles, but no joy. Fortunately, friends have bought the spares from me.0 -

On Wednesday 2nd December 2009, I attempted to order 2 x Go Go Pets Hamsters online, order number *****. By the time I had gone through the checkout process, the items were out of stock and I was unable to order. The order is still showing on my history.
Since then, I have sourced these toys from alternative stores.
On Thursday 10th December, I attempted to order 2 x Go Go Pets Mr Squiggles. The order was accepted, and I later received an email stating that the order had been cancelled due to problems with the payment card. This was on order number *****.
I tried again after speaking with my bank, who confirmed that there had been no problem with my payment card. This order was also cancelled for the same reason. This was on order number******* .
I then spoke to customer services at Tesco, who informed me that any previous order for Go Go Pets would count towards the '2 per household' rule, so I attempted to re-order 1 x Go Go Pets Mr Squiggles on order number ******. This order was also cancelled, for the reason that there was a problem with my payment card.
Today, I received a text stating that the orders had been cancelled due to breach of the bulk buying policies.
I appreciate that these policies are in place for a good reason - these toys are in short supply, and extremely difficult to get hold of. I have managed, from trawling the internet regularly, to secure almost the full set of these toys, but I am now missing Mr Squiggles. I am extremely disappointed in Tesco - I have never attempted to breach the bulk buying policies - the only item I have ever received is the Funhouse (order number *****). I am disappointed the the original order (which was actually out of stock) is still counting towards my purchasing limits for these items, and also that incorrect emails sent out by Tesco direct resulted in me having 3 further orders cancelled.
I would appreciate your comments, and would be interested how you intend to rectify this situation, which has resulted in a very dissatisfied customer, who has never attempted to breach terms and conditions, or bulk buying policies.0 -
