thanks for help I ordered chunk (because he's mischievous) for my son and pipsqueal (because I like the name ) for my daughter. Hope I've made the right choice. Can you have them just as they are without playset, ball etc?

They work perfectly fine independently ,i would leave this thread now while you are happy with the hamsters ,If you hang around for any length of time you will be sucked into the underworld of hamsters lol

Yes you can use them on their own - they work best on smooth flooring and not thick pile carpet.

I picked up my JL "lucky dip" for my playset this morning for my eldest daughter, convinced it would be a hamster (as some posted yesterday!).. but it was a skateboard (yeah!! Thats me finished with all the go go shopping!!). My youngest was quite taken with "lulu" the cat. Never seen or heard of them before.. She hasn't stopped talking about it.. so I thought I would get one for her (I have focused so much on the hamster hunt for my eldest.. not really bought much for her!) Only to see that they are OOS EVERYWHERE!!!! Oh well... she is easily distracted!
