HI all, I have only just found out about these hamsters!! and would love to get some for my twins so am keeping an eye on here for any help in doing that (atlhough I am pretty sure that I have left it too late )

Can I just say that when trolls appear on here, just ignore them completely!! for all we know they could be a 16 yr old boy and not even who they say they are!! so its best just to pretend the post never happened and carry on regardless...you are such a nice bunch don't let them spoil a nice thread....

Yes, I had rung Tesco online today to discuss my on-going Mr Squiggles with a dodgy nose issue...anyway, I ended up speaking to 2 advisors, the first being a first line advisor and the second being a supervisor. They both told me that the last stock of hammies had gone on-line today and that the warehouse was now empty - not a hamster to be found - not even one to replace my dodgy one :mad: and that they were not expecting any more hammies before Christmas. Anyway, they both said that 300 houses were showing as in stock in the warehouse and that as far as they were aware, that these were going to be listed tomorrow and the supervisor even commented that if they went as fast as the hamsters did today, that they would last all of two minutes (I think they will have restrictions on the amount that can be bought so anyone wanting more than one house will need to make sure they check the restrictions or the whole order would be cancelled if they are exceeded). So I was just passing on the info that they gave. Obviously I can't confirm it

I was under the impression that the hamsters are manufactured in America by Cepia LLC out of St. Louis, MO,

Does anyone know?

I don' know for sure, but its very possible that they are counterfeit. I don't think I'd spend that on them just in case - they may not meet toy standards.... Possibly a bit of a gamble buying those.

I had thought about the homemade ones but I am holding off incase some become available within the next couple of weeks.
