Are JL pretty good at honouring stock?

I ordered a house the other day and that was ok, got it. Not sure if they honour big orders though. I have just ordered 3 playsets in the hope that I get one of each. Hope that isn't too many.

I think that's why the stock stuck around. I want two balls but I didn't want to risk it. Good sign for stock in other places though if JL had them.

Safety scare over Go Go Hamsters.

PARENTS scrambling in vain to buy Go Go Hamsters could be left counting their blessings - as it emerged the must-have Christmas toy is at the centre of a poison scare.

Consumer watchdogs tested the £10 electronic pet for dangerous chemicals and found traces of antimony - which is similar to arsenic - beyond permitted levels.
The chemical is restricted to 60 parts per million because it can cause headaches and dizziness.
But 93 parts per million were discovered in the fur of the Mr Squiggles version - and 106 parts per million in its nose. The findings - by US consumer group Good Guide - immediately sparked safety concerns.
The American firm behind the toys refused to issue a recall, insisting Go Go Hamsters - called Zhu Zhu Pets in the US - were safe.
Good Guide analysed three Mr Squiggles. Dara O'Rourke, associate professor of environmental science at the University of California in Berkeley, said each was tested several times. The results condemned the toy - aimed at three to ten-year-olds - to a ratiing of just 5.2 on Good Guide's ten-point safety scale.
Go Go Hamsters, made in China, are tipped to be the biggest-selling Christmas toy ever - with stocks already running out across Britain.
Here they are marketed by toy firm Character.
The British Retail Consortium, which represents slump-hit shops, insisted safety was a priority. But director general Stephen Robertson admitted: "The last thing stores need is shoppers returning en masse what is expected to be one of the big Christmas sellers."
Ronnie Dungan, managing editor of trade magazine Toy News, said: "If the company is forced to recall the product at this stage it would be a disaster." Character expects to sell 700,000 battery-operated Go Go Hamsters, which scurry around in "explore" mode and coo when stroked. The three other versions are Chunk, Num Nums and Pipsqueak. Russ Hornsby, boss of US toy giant Cepia, disputed the Good Guide findings. He said: "Go Go Hamsters have passed the most rigorous testing."
Mum-of-two Samantha Downie, 38, of Hither Green, South London, said: "I've managed to get two Mr Squiggles for my boys, but if there's even a chance they're dangerous, they'll go straight back to the shop."

    Illegitimi non carborundum.

:rotfl::rotfl: otherwise I m gonna cry! After all the stress and adrenalin racing around to get these toys - squiggles might carry a higher risk of death that a bubonic plague carrying rat! Every year, at least one toy made in China I buy seems to get recalled because of a health scare icon8.gif!
