I guess i will wait til after xmas for the ball,skateboard,surfboard as i haven't found any at the price they are ment to be and no matter how much i need these to finish my set for my daughter i wont pay twice the amount.

My hammies are still sealed in their box from the T delivery. I ought really to check they are working, both there.
neither of mine asked for one, i just jumped of the bandwagon of this thread however the more I read the more I want a ball as I reckon it'll be a toy more for the cat than the kids.

Some of the skateboards and surfboards haven't been going for much more than RRP on E-bay. Worth keeping an eye out!

but the snipe thing is useful to know. Is that why all the items I watched (glamorous life I lead!) shot up in the last 1 or 2 minutes?

Yes thats why the prices shot up in the last 2 minutes, mainly down to sniping, you'll get the odd person who waits patiently and then puts a bid in manually but most are snipes.

It great because in stead of watching items you can set a snipe up. You can remove your snipe at any time with no comebacks.

Before i discovered snipes, i had to retract a bid on 2 occasions - now i dont need to - i just cancel a snipe instead.

Say there is 5 go go balls. All ending in the same hour you can st up a snipe on each of then for your maximum price, if you dont win 1 the snipe will move on to the next one and so on, but you do have to be careful here cos if you win one the snipe will still take place on the next ones nless you cancell it.

Thats how i got my spanish car & garage & hamster yesterday - with a snipe.

I'm one of those people who 99% of the time waits patiently and don't start bidding until there is only 15 seconds or less of the auction remaining.

Is the site you mentioned a free one? I've come across some where you have to pay.
