Me personally would be very warey about buying anything on ebay from china.. they copy everything! even razor blades.. I once brought a laptop which I thought was a sony laptop only to receive a copy which has a logo Soni on it! It was still a good laptop but still a copy. My friend also got stung with a copy iPhone. Also you may need to pay import duties when the goods arrive in the UK & if they are stopped by customs then they don't release them untill they have sent you a letter & you've paid the fee's unless they are sent with DHL which will pay the fee's for you and then send you a bill. This can take a while sometimes. I get wedding favour supplies from china and i've had a parcel stuck with customs for 3 weeks before now. Not really worth the risk in my opionion. Plus that seller has never sold any before now which is odd.0

Hubby went to China today for work - but I'm still hoping for the family to be kitted out with 'converse' and maybe a new DS Lite!!!:D0 -
Feel a bit stupid now as I just did a 99p raffle bid which was for 4 hammies and 60 percent to charity, thought it was worth a go
Well have now just purchased a num nums £20 incl p&p ebay...I am going to try to get something to go with it, thought my 3 could perhaps play with it together and then if they love it I could get more after christmas...
I noticed that Argos are not allowing reservations for the store or ordering online too...I wonder if that will change or whether that will be it now till after christmas..
Hang your head in shame :rotfl:
(only joking just promise not to do it agagin)
The reason these raffles are wrong is 1) they break ebay rules, 2) they break UK law, 3) the winnig bidder is very likely going to be a relative of the seller who bought 1 ticket, so the seller will end up keeping the hamies anyway.
Granted money is going to chariy, but some raffles we have been looking at have sold 500 tickets. even with 50% going to charity the seller is still clearing £250 - hamster cost - fees' so roughly about £180ish quid profit for 4 hammies which is just :TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Maybe the spectacles will stop the hamsters from bumping into furniture!
Good on the seller, I say. The americans are very creative, there are custom and handmade items of all sorts on the ebay.com including earrings!
And how about this ....
