Returning goods to Tesco

I bought a trio shadow in Tesco yesterday from their Collection 2000 range. When I came to use it this morning, I found that one of the colours doesn't look tha same on my eyelids as it does in the container. If I take it back to Tesco will they refund me even though I have used it?

"what if you tell them it made your eyes itch?"
That's a good idea, yenners :T I remember returning a shower cream of theirs that irritated my skin and I had no probs with a refund.0 -

:T Well said.
People who make up stupid stories to get their money back for no valid reason are the people who have made it difficult for genuine shoppers to get refunds.
Stores are becoming stricter on their refund policies because of this.
Would you really see it as Tesco's fault because an eyeshadow made your eyes itch? Is it really their fault? I'd call that tough - you must have sensitive skin
oooppps, sorry, it didn't make your eyes itch did it? You are just using that as an excuse because you dont like the colour once you've put it on. And that is definately not Tescos fault.
Goods must be as described - huh? Could the colour of the eyeshadow not be seen?
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0
