Sainsbury's loan charges.
Hi all,
Just after a bit of advice regarding sainsbury's loan charges. I have had a loan with them for just over 2 years now and have never missed a payment , but a couple of months ago i changed my bank account, so had to give them my new bank details for the direct debit. The new account is with alliance and leicester, and when i gave sainsburys the new details one of the digits for the account was wrong, so the loan payment was missed. They then charged me £25 (letter fee) on top of my loan payment which i paid straight, but today i recieved a letter asking for another £10 (telephone fee), is this right. Apparently it's under the consumer credit act 1974.
Cheers.
