I've had savings, ISA's and credit cards there for years, but recently the website seems to be really unstable, with technical gliches and bad pages.

After suffering this I made a complaint when a large money transfer I made came out twice...

I got a short reply from 'India' saying they had 'logged my complaint' (with terrible grammar and spelling).

When I followed it up a week later I established that 'logging the complaint' means they simply closed the enquiry.

I tried again, but this time got told to write to them! Don't think I've ever encountered such apathy and bad attitude!

They were recently taken over by an American bank, and so we are seeing US-style cost-cutting and the kind of service that only slaves and Americans tolerate.

Time to move: the Cooperative group (and Smile in particular) still offer excellent service.

Ah, I see, thanks. Well I for one certainly noticed the difference.

What a shame.

I already removed all my money but haven't found a new home for it. I heard bad things about the Co-Op online banking too...
