Mulled wine

Any recommendations as to best value mulled wine? Few weeks ago someone mentioned ikea at £1.50/ bottle, but no ikeas in Norfolk! Want something cheap, but my guests will enjoy!

    I have heard the bottled versions don't go anywhere near the real thing.

    Do make your own, Delia's looks very simple

    Don't bother with the white wine version, it's completely disgusting. M&S pink champagne is lovely though!

    Schwarz do a Mulled Wine Sachet thingy. 4 or 5 to a box just add the wine, orange juice etc. Good thing about this is that you can use any cheap red plonk - cos you're gonna be cooking it!! IYSWIM

    Well...you're *heating* it...not boiling the alcohol off so I wouldn't be using cheap rubbish or it'll taste exactly that way :p
