    Who valued it at £29.95? The London Mint, by any chance? :rolleyes: Numismatically, I reckon it's worth about 20p. Tops. ;)

    Basically, they've got a job lot of a million or more 1967 pennies that they can't shift, and are looking for ways to tart them up and get rid. Bear in mind that 1967 pennies were minted again in 1968, 1969 and 1970 - a total of 654,564,000. They're virtually worthless.

    However, if you like it as a shiny gewgaw of no intrinsic value, and are happy to pay £2.50 for it, why not? I've bought worse. ;)
    If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.
