  • Hi confused, yes you can send copies and yes, if you ask, they will return originals to you.

I think you would be OK with copies confused-the OR will soon let you know if they want the originals. Some people wont have kept them, so they would have to request from the employer anyhoo-send a copy and see what happens. I sent originals of bank statements tho

Just to add for you confused, DH has a NT tax code and payments goto MoonBeever, they accept copies of his payslips as prove, can't see the OR being any different.

  • Sorry to gatecrash! but can I ask a question?

I don't have any paper statements at all but could I do a download (from online banking) for the last 2 years and print this? Would that be suitable do you think? If not it will be awkward to get the info from the bank as my relationship with them is on dodgy ground at the mo!

I wouldnt bother TBH-save your ink! The OR will be able to request copies from the bank no problems, and if you just say sorry for the inconvenience, Im sure it wont matter. I had gaps in mine.

  • I've just downloaded the last 7 years haha, I won't print them but will let them know if they ask that I have it all on disc, easy enough to send it accross. I'm more comfortable knowing that its there incase I need to refer back to them :)
I want to be OVERprepared :)
