If you stay at home looking after baby and your partner goes out to work, the assessment should be nil. In any event should be allowed 100% of housing costs unless your ex appeals. Your ex WILL appeal because the CSA will tell them to.
I find the CSA offers good advice to parents looking after children regardless whether they ask for it, but routinely give wrong advice or hide it from working parents.
I caught the CSA lying after they called me at work and they forgot that calls are recorded or monitored for staff training purposes...0 -

As far as I know yes, but I do know you can claim 100% of your housing costs. The CSA might tell you can only claim 50%, I asked this very question on separate occasions by telephone and got completely different answers. It seems the CSA itself doent understand its own rules.
Get expert advice and ring the CSA anonymously several times and note the answers. Take the most common occurring answer.0 -
Things are a lot more complicated if you are on CSA1, however there is a CSA expert on here that may be able to help you her user ID is Kelloggs36. Sure she will reply asap.hollywoodgman wrote: »thanks dx2, dont suppose you have any rough idea how much, its just me n gf are real worried for our future*SIGH*
