Business Bank Accounts for Discharged Bankrupts

Barclays let me have full business account with cheque book etc straight after discharge and I have just also opened a Ltd company bank account as I've gone Ltd. I'm only 14 months past discharge at this point, went BR in Jan 2008.0

I think Barclays get a bad press on here from their relentless hounding of debt - even once bankrupt. They do, however, seem forgiving by being BR friendly. They don't seem to hold a grudge. Maybe they are hoping to make more o/d fees?I've just opened a business acount with Barclays. I applied online and got a phone call the next day to make an appointment to go in and see a 'business manager'.
I met with her today and was upfront about having been made bankrupt 4 years ago. She did a credit check on me as we chatted and my application was approved.
Computer says YES!
Barclays seem to be getting a lot of bad press on here but on my experience I can't fault them...
...yet!

I would have thought that as the company is not bankrupt and as you can be a director after discharge, there is no reason for a bank not to open an account for you.0
