How to put in an xmas afternoon with the kids!!

Options
just wanted to share with you all now that tis' the season and all that.....and kids will be excited about the big day but nerver the less still 'bored'!!!
Heres an idea that we did last saturday and it was cheap and cheerful-Ikea are selling ready to roll gingerbread think its about £1.99ish in the chiller section- the kids had an absolute ball rolling it out and cutting into hillarious shapes.we got 50 small bikkies out of each roll so very MSE lol. The smell of them cooking was divine.......got us all in the christmasy mood! they decorated them with the little tubes of icing you get in tescos and have been speaking about it ever since ( i do bake alot, lol,so its not like it was a novelty....they just really loved the gingerbread!!) i just let them go for it...didnt care what shapes or mounds they made as it was so cheap.......every shape and mound was eaten!!!!
just an idea of how to spend a nice cheap afternoon with the kids......one they might just remember forever :D
it takes more energy
to hate than to love...
love and relax!
