    Didn't Peston cause the run on Northern Rock, and the ensuring recession? Debatable(sp?), but he certainly was partly responsible at the very least.

    Press Gazette: "Press Gazette asked 50 journalists and 1,000 members of the public to name their favourite business and finance journalist"

    Guardian: "The list is based on a survey of 50 journalists working in the sector who were asked to name their top five contemporaries"

    Martin Lewis: "I’ve come second in a poll for the most trusted business journalist, which is great"

    I just found the above variations in reporting quite interesting. :)

    An interesting note. Worth pointing out though that mine is a personal blog not a report - it has no where near the level of resource put into it that one of our news stories or more so one of the guides do. In fact its usually tapped out in about three or four minutes and is generally mulling.

    So I wouldn't categorise it with the other two that are proper articles.
