I work in a Nursery School & we have our Nativity Play on Thursday,Friday & saturday.
I'm looking after the Sheep. So adorable :):):)

The sheep wear, white poloneck, white tights with a tail sewn onto the back, & a white fluffy bonnet.

Can;t she just wear white tights & a long white jumper ?
  • Thanks for all the brilliant replies everybody!! Got some white tights yesterday from Asda. They did have a sheep dressing up costume at Asda too but it's too small for her. I think the adults t-shirt idea is a great one  I'll be able to decorate it with some cotton wool or something too to make it look a bit more woolly! Our daughter has a bladder problem and she has to wear nappies at school, so we want something that is long enough to cover up her bum, because the other children don't know she wears nappies and we don't want them to find out! I think a long t-shirt would do the trick :xmassmile

Might be OTT but Home Bargains have a sheep/lamb outfit in their christmas stuff.

I got one of these!! It even comes with hooves. It was £3.99, plus a cheap t-shirt from Primark and a pair of tights. She looks great :j Thanks very much for everyone's help :D

When my DS was a shepherd , he just wore dressing gown ( towelling - it was navy blue , didnt want to buy a brown one, as had blue one at home) and he just had a towel wrapped round his head. Just had on trousers and tshirt underneath. You could always use an adults one. HTH

My DD brought home a note from school yesterday to say she is being a sheep in the school nativity play. They have said she has to wear a white skirt and a top or a white dress and some white tights. We already have a top but not the other stuff, I'm going to have to buy them, they have to be at school by Thursday!! Anyone know where I can get some white clothes from, on the high street, not too expensive?! It's her first ever one so I want to get it right :) Thanks!

If you have a mans white shirt, you could use that and put a belt at the waistband. ;)

If you don't want to do the retro dressing gown/tea towel look (my son had a power rangers dressing gown ) then what about a man's check shirt belted loosely over track bottoms & tea towel headdress?
my boy had to walk on in a group & later kneel at the front so the track bottoms were not a problem - he was adamant he'd not wear a 'frock' :o
