Done the aplication with halifax.. and they required my accountant to confirm alary for 2007 , 2008 2009 and projection for 20010
it came as
2007 = 5000 wage plus 15 000 dividents
2008== 5300 wages plus 15200 dividents
2009 = 44000 wages only
projection for 2010 = 52 000. for this last one she wants to know will there be any dividents (SINCE is just projection, which i best to state?)
i have prepared this and need to send asap-- any good???
As per 2007 -2008 salary;
When i started the company i only had a motorbike and probably less than £200.00 worth of hand tools.
Before i worked as subcontractor for companies and they provided, scaffold, materials and any other things needed .
Most of the income on the first 2 years went on buying van, setting up website , advertising, building up client book at any cost, scaffold, paying subcontractors and other building tools as we were invoilving ourselve in building work too, not just plastering.
Also rectifying mistakes, i was making from switching from comercial projects to working in people's houses- Not the same working in a building site verus to a room with brand new carpet , full of furniture and a nervous client who d never seen plastering before -all a different game!
From September 2008 till February 2009, we won a contract with X Construction Ltd, worth some £70.000 basically suplying Plasterer to them on daily rate, no materials or tools supplied - and leaving us quite a good profit margin, and except from phone calls to arrange plasterers no other expenses -Hence the higher wages this year
This income from X ltd can be proved via bank statements, and we are about to start another project with them mid December .
Also, A court case with X company Ltd, started on 2008 was just setled in recent months, leaving me with some more extra money that i thought i will never get back..All the above can be proven if needed to.
I hope this explains your question regarding wages.
Best Regards

You stated that you have just been asked whether there will be any dividends for 2010 - isn't the answer just a simple 'YES' or NO' ??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

My income is made up from a couple of sources (although of relevance I receive two payments per month from the NHS), the IFA dealing with my mortgage application just couldnt understand how one affected the other and was unable to explain that to the lender.
In the end he asked me to phone his contact at the lenders office direct - she couldnt understand it either.
It is sometimes really hard to explain complex situations in writing - since you dont know if the person receiving the information has understood.
If you talk to them in person, be sitting at your computer/scanner with all relevant paperwork at hand you can 'talk' them through the figures and scan/email over supporting documentation while they are on the phone - then follow it up in writing.
That way you are abosulutely sure about which bit they dont understand and can provide the evidence and explanation to fit their needs.
