Hair Dyed wrong colour, advice needed, lol.

This is really embarrasing, but I was trying to dye out the few grey hairs that I have and got a permanent hair dye.

I have dirty fair hair and tried to dye it blonde, but my hair turned out ginger, :o . Had all the stick at home and work and just want it done properly.

I am going to the hairdresser to spend a fortune getting it done right, but in the meantime is there anything I can use to neutralise the intensity of the ginger hair?

I read all sorts about Head and shoulders and fairy liquid, wondered if there was any tried and tested stuff I could use, short of dying it myself again.

I've found that head and shoulders left on for about 5 mins lightens my hair colour.... but you could be adding to your problems!

I'd get professional help - or enjoy being a g'inger!!
