Seems as though it could well be kosher to me, proper contact number, address, website isn't newly registered.

they appear to have shops/addresses and phone numbers, will be interesting to see if any one has used them and what review they give.

  • STAY AWAY!!

That is all i can say! i brought a 360 elite from them from amazons version of playtrade & unfortunately from me it turned out to be from these phonies!!

the Console was 'refurbished' and cost £150 in june, played on it for just one month then all of a sudden it wouldnt work - (no 3 red rings) but it would switch on make awful fan noises and nothing would come on! tried everything new HDMI leads, taking HDD off etc etc

Contacted them through amazon etc and got nothing, so complained to amazon which got me nowhere so i found their number and gave them a ring, someone in a shop answered and explained i could post it back or the best thing to do would be to send it to microsoft as it would still be under warranty and this would save us both postage, next day i rang microsoft and they explained that the 360 is registered to someone else so there is nothing they can do, so again i send a couple of emails to swallowgames and got nothing back, ended up ringing them a week later an spoke to another guy who didnt have a clue saying he couldnt understand why emails were not being responded to as (in his words) 'all emails go to the big boss' so i would need to email him again and get a response.

So again i sent another email across and mentioned eveything i had done so far including the last telephone conversation.

again recieved nothing back so called them again asking to speak to the MD or a manger - none were available and then the assistant on the phone told me now that 3 months had past they would do nothing as my '3 month guarantee had run out' and told me not to bother wasting my time ringing them again as they are just 'shop workers'

up until now i was going to just leave this and break the 360 up and sell it on ebay to cut some of my losses, but this bogus company shouldn't just get away with ripping consumers off should they, is there anything i can do? I've tried things like Trading standards in the past etc but it never seems to get anywhere as you just end up being advissed to contact the company - in this case, is impossible!

I disagree on the prices - i reckon I could find most of those games CHEAPER new, from reputable stores, that this lot are charging for secondhand.
