staying focused

I hope no one minds, but I have decided to write a few things down to help me stay focused.
I've done well so far, but feel there is a lot more I could do.
since I started moneysaving (or rather money not spending!) I have changed my bank account, lost my overdraft and transferred my credit card to a interest free loan.
I have stopped throwing money away in shops at lunchtimes on clothes and stuff, bring my own lunches to work and avoid the vending machine at work like the plague.
I have cut my food shopping bill right back to no more than £20 a week (in fact it is less than £10 most weeks)
I allow myself just £10 a week "pocket money" (given on Sundays - so far haven't touched this weeks, hurray!) Anything left from this £10 goes into a pot and can be used for treats.
So far, I have bought a new tracksuit (I'm a bit sporty) and redone my small front garden.
I feel a great sense of achievement, but feel there is so much more I could do, but am lacking the motivation.
I'm off work next week, so would like to set myself a few things to do.
Hopefully I will have a job interview on Monday or Thursday.
I will have to drive to Lincoln (from North east ) a couple of times as my gran is v poorly.
Other than that I think I will phone ntl and see if they will price match talk talk - and if not, switch.
I must defer my student loan repayments
And I think I should set up transfer into my savings account of £27 a month to cover next years car insurance which is due next June.
I would like to change gas and electricity suppliers to, but for some reason this scares me!

If you are changing any of your utilities providers use quidco or other cash back sites to do so. You get £8 a time I think via Uswitch on quidco ( do them seperately though, one for gas, then close the windows, then the other for electric, then again for phone)
Dont worry about changing supliers, Ive found the latest time easy and pain free.
Also check out megabus or national express (again cash back from Quidco on NE) for your journeys, they can end up from as little as a quid each way
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks Lynzpower!
Might have to do the utilities thing, but will have to drive to Lincoln, so we have transport when I get there0
