What's the best thing for cleaning
black mould off a bedroom ceiling.
Used bleach but u would need it to stay on direct but it drips down.
Working with strong bleach goes for the chest too!!!
Any good ideas?

You could try making a paste with bleach and flour. This would cling to the ceiling better and be less likely to drip.0

We just used all purpose multi cleaner and gave it a good clean. Then dry it a towel afterwards.
We never use bleach as its gets on our children's chests.0 -
It might also be worth some thought as to the cause of the mould on the ceiling. Do you have condensation problems in the bedroom? Have you been avoiding having the heating on in there?0

Yes the boxroom has 2 outside very exposed walls & I think the window needs left open all day or else black mould grows.
Can't afford to have heating on all the time.
Yes I think it's a condensation prob0 -
Astonish do a mould and mildew remover spray which is very effective. Try using the windowsill mini dehunidifiers to absorb some moisture and avoid the condensation.0

HG Mould spray as sold by Lakeland is fantastic, the best I have found for my bathroom ceiling - but the fumes are very strong so you`d want to use it when the little folks are not around. It does drip so you`d also need to put something down beneath it.0

Milton worked on mould caused by condensation for us. Just wiped it over with a cloth and it came straight off - I thought it would take a while, but a couple of wipes and it was gone. Less dangerous than bleach as well. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Tea tree oil is brilliant! I used it in DS room after trying polycell mould killer, bleach, stardrops and anything else I could lay my hands on, it was the only thing that workedBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
