Haven't got a clue what kind of 'amazing bargains' but might be worth a look!

Thanks for the post. I know it is off subject, but some things are too good to be true.

I have been burned by these guys. So just a warning to all. They delivered 2 of 3 items, the missing item being a £6 joystick. Three months after the original order the matter was still not resolved. Letters were not acknowledged. Customer services were extremely poor. I never received the item or a refund - they had no proof of delivery - still did not budge. For £6 I already put in too much effort. No matter how good their specials are I would recommend you avoid them.

Oh I don't know....there might be some cheap joysticks on offer today (hoping to get a £6.00 one for a quid)

I've had nothing but flawless service from them. Purchases and returns all handled with seemingly effortless ease.

But there again I think I'm lucky with computer suppliers. I've also never had a problem with eBuyer or their returns either.

When I built my current computer i ordered most of the components from them. They managed to omit a 512mb stick of RAM (then about £50 worth) from the package - spent some time rummaging through the packaging thinking I'd overlooked it!
I thought that they would think I was trying to scam extra memory from them, but when I rang (it took some time to get through) they did agree to send it, and it arrived a couple of days later.
So although they cocked up the order, they did put it right without too much hassle!

I only have good things to say about Micro Direct too... ordered many many items from them in the past and have not had a single problem.
