Ok you wonderful people.......
DP (who is still in the bad books btw)......
got a phone call from CSA today saying his payments are going up to 320 pm.....not very money saving
Reason being.........PWC is allowing their son to stay at home when he is supposed to be here....he said he got shouted at and made to apologise to me (he purchased points on the xbox using MY credit card, he is 14) and therefore he doesnt want to come....Grrrrr I didnt shout at him, I said in future could you ask as i may go OD on my CC and get charged a fortune.....His other DS 16 nearly 17 is in f/t education but spends4/5/6 nights here p/w (basically as and when he feels like it...DP is just glad to have him here tbh)
DP is still travelling on the days as his ex wont tell him if his youngest DS is coming or not and when he gets there he beeps the horn....but no one comes....then the texts start from his ex.....stay away, DS doesnt want to see you, you come to my door again im getting the police.....etc etc.
He hasnt seen youngest DS since sept....and the child is autistic so will do whatever mummy tells him as he doesnt want to rock the boat (so to speak)
CSA told DP today that she rings daily and has sent them solicitors letters they are going to send a person out to have a chat with DP:rolleyes: I have never heard of this but we are willing to be interviewed.
DPs eldest son has now said that when he calls to get them DPs EX says to the younger son that "you dont have to go" .....The court order says that joint custody of eldest boy and 3 nights one week/2 nights the following week for the youngest. We cannot afford to go to court again and his EX is getting all the legal aid she wants
Its not fair.....is there anything we can do??
DP says just leave it.......give her the money thats all she wants, Im saying she is purposely preventing access....Social services arent interested so what now??

Rang a CSA 0845 number (for advice) and the girl said its a bit excessive for DPs wages.......
Also said that he isnt living with me!!?????? we informed them last year!! so apparently my kids are to be taken into account......she also said that if the child tax credits are in my name then all the better....!!?? (they are) and if the wtc are in my name again even better (they arent but they are like 20quid per week in DPs payslips) Im getting worried now as i have been reading threads that say kids money ie CTC can and will be taken into account including the extra money if any of the children are disabled!!! HELP....Please! The CTC and carers allowance keep us ticking over each month!!Baby no 5 due 10th Feb 2010Not very MSE:money:

they'll take a percentage of it.
ftc aren't included in nrp's income if he is not the main earner though.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0 -

He is the main earner:)
and gets working tax credit...
I get the child tax credits.....is that not my income then?
I also get carers allowance for a disabled child.
So do they take my money into account too then?
The woman on the phone said that they dont
I will ring again and see if I get a different answerBaby no 5 due 10th Feb 2010Not very MSE:money:

They won't take your earnings into account but the tax credits they will as he is the main earner - all child tax credits will be considered to belong to the NRP anyway.0

but the woman said that child tax credits, as they are in my name wont count!!......
why would she say that?Baby no 5 due 10th Feb 2010Not very MSE:money:

they will count as you can't have a partner and a claim for child tax credits as a single person - those child tax credits will be counted as his income as the tax credits claim has to be a joint one.0

She was either wrong or the rules have changed only very recently as they have unfortunately taken tax credits into account until now.August GC 10th - 10th : £200 / £70.61
NSD : 2/80 -

Because they get it wrong all the time, especially verbally. Dunno why, you'd have to ask an insider that. So do yourself a big favour - do everything in writing, recorded delivery and insist they respond in writing. So if they do mis-inform you, you've got a chance of making a complaint stick. Its the only way we have to make them do their jobs properly!

I don't get extra payments because I have a disabled child, nor do the CSA take into account the Carer's Allowance that my ex's partner receives. I am on CSA2. the only way his other child is taken into account is that the first 15% of his wages are disregarded before the CSA work out what he owes me for our kids.0
