    so the mortgage would be totally on my existing property then yeh?

    would i be able to do this if i was just buying it for rental?

    thanks, and would it simply be a case of me telling a finianical advisor what i wanted to do then they would find the right product for me?

    Yes - it should be as simple as telling a whole of market adviser what you want and they would be able to find it for you
