Work and Wellbeing Project - a Warning!

Some of you may have heard of this project, others may have been on it.
It's basically the new flagship project of the govt. for people who have been on incapacity benefit for over six months.
I had my brush with it today.
I found it to be a complete misrepresentation of what it portrays itself as.
It's basically Jobclub (for those of you who remember the 90's) or Jobsearch by another name. Jobclub was a nightmare process (for those of us in the North) during the 90's - best portrayed in the 'Full Monty'. It really was like that and worse!
This is slightly more repugnant in that it aims particularly at already vulnerable individuals.
 Full information about what I was signing up to was not given to me before I was actually expected to sign up, and in my opinion misrepresentation was used.
 Pressure is applied to individuals to meet 'targets' while on the project (clearly stated on the adverts that this would not be done).
 The project managers are clearly under pressure to meet targets (not necessarily a bad thing but let's remember who we're dealing with here!).
 The types of 'training' that are available through the project are already freely available elswhere (misleading).
 The specific medical/therapies help advertised are not necessarily/always available, or are already freely available through your GP/elsewhere.
Its also 26 weeks long; something else that wasn't going to be pointed out to me before I signed up. And only two weeks of it is training: 24 weeks is Jobsearch.
If you join this project, you are signing a contract that clearly may affect your benefit(s) despite anything that you may be told to the contrary. This is how it was explained to me. Pressure will be applied to you to sign up for this if you go along. They tried to get me to sign the papers even as I was legging it through the door AND they called me at home at 5.45 this evening for the same reason. I'm not joking.
This is one of the most despicable pet projects of this government, since the worst days of M. Thatcher. (I'd sooner vote for Pol Pot than this govt.)
It's up to you.

The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.
