My Situation is a mess!!

I work full time earning £13500 (£950 a month)

I pay £650 into a joint account with my wife this covers household bills...mortgage,gas, food, cars and petrol...phone bill.

About a year ago my wife consolidated my debts she took a loan out for £8500...foolishly some of the debt was not cleared and i wasted some of the money.

There is about £7300 owing on this loan payements of £197 a month.

I still have money owing to old debts and a few recent ones...

Barclaycard £2640 £60 per month
Barclays Partner Finance £2159 £53 per month
Aqua Card £700 £50 per month
Abbey OD £392 £70 per month (payement arrangement)
Wageday Advance (Payday loan) £195 £45 (interest only)
Payday Express £300 £60 (interest only)
Payday UK £275 £55 (interest only)
Quick Quid £375 £75 (interest only)
1 Month Loan £195 £45 (interest only)
Cash Genie £195 £45 (interest only)
TXT Loans £200 £25 (interest only)
Mini Credit £130 £30 (interest only)
Provident Loans £800 £149 per month

Misc Debts

Swinton £124 Overdue Balance
Orange £900 Overdue Balance

So the total is just short of £17000 of debt. £9700 of which is in my name and £7300 which my wife has put in her name....

I cant afford to keep up with minimum payements and im failling into arrears

Can anyone give me advice on possible solutions...consolidation loans, DMP, IVA's Bankruptcy?

Many thanks

James

It may be a idea to post a SOA so people can see what "excess" if any you have left at the end of the month x

    Hiya James,

I think you should ring one of the debt charities like National Debtline or CCCS or Payplan and they can advise you. The CCCS do an online version called debt rememdy. I see you have a few payday loans. I went thru them and had nightmare interest is extortionate!!! There is lots of help and support out there and on this site.

    Good luck
